Boulder Opal Jewelry

I recently acquired some spectacular boulder opal from Kevin & JoAnne Dowdy.
The Dowdys travel to Australia every year to find very good duality boulder opal.
Kevin then cuts the rough making some of the best and most beautiful opal cabochons I have ever seen.
Currently I am working to design settings that will emphasize nature's beauty in the opal.

"Nesting" Pin-Pendant This beautiful boulder opal with flashes of blue and brilliant green is surrounded by 18k gold "twigs" and accented wih a .10caret diamond. The stone is set in a 22k bezel with 18k gold "bubbles" rising from it. The reticulated silver resembles the mineral buildup that surrounds these pools. $319.00
