JAN MCCLELLAN'S

HOME PAGE

I've Lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon for 50 years and think this is a great place! My late husband, Stan, and I reared our six children here, and now I am enjoying our 18 grandchildren. If that isn't enough to do, about 20 years ago I retired from the regular job force and began in earnest to work at my craft which is jewelry making, using silver, gold and gemstones. Up until a few years ago I did the craft fair circuit, going to Oregon, California and Washington. Then the Internet thing kept me too busy so I retired my tent, sold my van and am staying home. Rather nice.

Church activities (Klamath Falls Friends Church), playing Duplicate Bridge with the Klamath Basin Bridge Club, good books, meeting friends and of course, keeping up with all those grandkids keep me from ever being bored.

By the way, that butterfly on the top of the page just fluttered around my backyard one day, and then stayed still long enough for me to get a picture.

Since the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon I have spent a lot of time thinking about ways I can help with peace making. Some of my thoughts are here: Thoughts of Peace
Recently I added: Further Thoughts on Peace - Education as a way to promote Peace - just so you will know I'm still thinking!
